| About Us: GuitarPaintGuys is a small studio located in the heart of the Midwest! We specialize in finishing and refinishing guitars of all types. Abstract Art, and Custom "One Off" Finishes! Our Mission is to provide quality finishing and refinishing services, at prices FAR LOWER than our competition. We are confident that we have THE BEST / LOWEST "Every Day" Price available on the Internet! If you find better "every day" prices, kindly drop us a line! We take this part pretty serious! Terms and Conditions: GuitarPaintGuys is very easy to work with! We describe every item we sell as accurately as possible, and include detailed photos of the actual items for sale. Buyers are encouraged to ask all questions prior to purchase! About our finishes: We primarily use high end Urethane Finishes. These finishes are much thinner than the modern polyester finishes used by manufacturers today. This type of finish is durable, easy to care for, and has an exceptional gloss. Our finishes have no effect on an instruments overall tone. Please note that we are producing functional art, not flawless top coats. We color sand the final clear coat by hand with extremely fine abrasives, and then polish the finish to a smooth, high gloss. Doing this by hand does allow some of the human and natural imperfections to appear in the clear coat, however, this also allows a greater level of detail and a higher gloss finish. We feel that the benefits far out weigh the drawbacks. **Decals : We are happy to apply your own custom decal as part of your finish. We WILL NOT apply ANY unauthorized manufacturer decal. **Color Selection is the responsibility of the individual customer. We provide many color samples to view on our website, and in most cases, we can send our customers an actual color sample upon request.* No refunds or refinishes will be honored in the case of "buyers remorse." Turn Around Time: Each order will be quoted an approximate turn around time. Turn around time is based on many factors; including the type or complexity of the finish, available materials, weather, and the overall work load at our studio. The turn around time quoted reflects actual time in our studio - not including shipping time. It also is only an approximate estimate. Our studio is fully climate controlled, however, weather conditions such as sub-zero temperatures in the winter months, and very humid conditions in the summer months, can effect overall turn around time. No refunds will be given in the event that your order is delayed or finished early. We are continually investing in new technology that is designed to provide faster turn around times, and have sucessfully been able to reduce our turn around time for most projects for the past 3 years in a row. Should there be any deviation from our quoted turn around time, we will do our best to let our customers know in advance. We simply want your finish to be properly complete before shipping! We typically do finish most orders ahead of our quoted times. Payments: We accept Google Checkout and Paypal Payments. Cash Payments are accepted for our local customers.. US Postal Service Money Orders Welcome. - Buyers MUST contact us FIRST to pay by US Postal Money Order! *Available only on select items. *Must be sent with your guitar/bass body prior to finishing. *All US Postal Money Orders will be held 7-10 Business days to clear. - NO EXCEPTIONS! No item or order will ship without cleared payment! Returns: In order to keep our prices low, and because all of our work is custom, one of a kind, and specific, we can not offer a traditional returns policy. All sales are final unless otherwise specified by GuitarPaintGuys in writing. We do stand behind our work! If there is a problem with your custom finish, just contact us within 7 days of receiving your order, and provided there is a case for your dis-satisfaction, we would be happy to discuss a repair! Any modifications to the instrument void this guarantee. Sale Priced, Specials, Used, 2nds, Discontinued or Closeout items are always sold "as is" and on an All Sales Final Basis. All sales outside the USA are "All sales final." Please be sure that you understand, and agree with these terms before you make your purchase! A purchase does constitute full acceptance and agreement with these terms. All of our "in stock"items are FULLY Tested prior to shipment! Custom Orders: Custom Orders are unique to each individual and are sold on a sales final basis. Once GuitarPaintGuys begins a custom order, the order can not be cancelled. If changes are requested while the order is in progress, we will do our best to accomodate. Depending upon how far along your order is, changes may not always be possible. Completely changing the paint job as a whole is not possible once the order is in progress. Custom Orders are sold at the listing (quoted) price plus actual return shipping at current USPS and UPS rates. Want a custom paint job or custom built guitar that you don't see listed? Orders recieved before 3PM CST are shipped the SAME DAY! Orders recieved after 3PM CST are shipped the NEXT DAY! (All items ship within our studio hours - M-F 8 am - 5 pm CST - Holidays Excluded) **We ship all items insured. Once the shipping carrier has posession of ANY shipment, ALL liability transfers to the shipping provider. Custom Orders will recieve an estimated completion time, as well as progress updates! Once your custom order is complete, and cleared payment has been recieved, it will be shipped right away! Items and custom orders will not be shipped until cleared payment has been recieved. Shipping Costs are always the individual buyers responsibility, unless GuitarPaintGuys offers to ship an item for free. Under no circumstances will GuitarPaintGuys be responsible for any customs fees. Customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Unclaimed Items: It is very unfortunate that we now have to make this kind of policy! Any items sent to us for finishing that are not paid for in thirty (30) days from the completion date will be subject to a $10.00 per month storage charge. No exceptions. Storage fees will be billed on the 31st day from finish completion. Any such items not paid for within six (6) months time, will be considered "abandoned" and will be liquidated and GuitarPaintGuys, its owners, and employees, shall be fully released from any and all legal or civil liabilities related to such items. We are not a storage facility. Your local Yellow Pages can assist you in that area. We are a small studio, and simply do not have the room! Again, we feel that it is extremely unfortunate that this kind of policy has to be in place. Privacy: GuitarPaintGuys will only use your information as it pertains to your order. This is to ensure correct order, payment, and shipping, processing. We will NOT share your information with any 3rd Party. We may release customer information to comply with reasonable requests from law enforcement agencies. ********************* GuitarPaintGuys reserves the right to modify or amend these terms at any time without notice. GuitarPaintGuys, its employees, and affiliates, are not affiliated with any of the major musical instrument manufacturers. GuitarPaintGuys is NOT an authorized dealer of any of the name brand instruments we offer for sale. All trademarks are property of their respective owners. Any unauthorized use of GuitarPaintGuys sites, listings, pictures, etc, is prohibited.
